HELP US

The success of our program does not depend on recruiting students. They are easy to identify in any envrionment. We help children, we help abused women, we help family dynamics.

We DO need help in promoting ourselves. All successful non-profit organizations strive to raise community awaraeness of who they are and what they do.

TO HELP US, YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A HORSE PERSON, ONLY A PERSON INTERESTED IN IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR AT-RISK MEMBERS OF YOUR COMMUNITY.

We recruit Certified Instructors. Whether you have a horse or not, whether you have a large facility or just a single horse operation, you can help someone expand their horizons and experience horses and nature. Our goal is to have Certified Instructors in every community in the country.

We recruit Associates, who help by having an interest and a belief in what we are doing. They work as volunteers at facilities. They help with fundraising and public relations in the community. And they help by asking you, their friends and neighbors to help us in very simple ways.

• This is the age of technology. If you have a chatroom, listserve, blog, or other internet group, please mention us. Put us on your bullitin boards. Ask people to simply visit our website. The hits alone will help drive us up search engines. And some of those people may decide they would like to take a more active part in our programs. Our goal is to get 100,000 hits on our site. Increased awareness alone makes our job easier.
  • Mention us to teachers. We are constantly looking for Title 1 teachers, and teachers who would like to help us develop new lesson plans. Their imput richly improves our programs.
  • If you own a business, please put a link on your site. It improves you image as a business person with community involvement. We are a non-profit organization with far reaching benefits. It doesn't matter what type of business you have, we ALL have an interest in the youth and familits of our community. Click Here for a sample email. Please send it to everyone on your email list.
• If you have items you would like to donate, please let us know. We are setting up an ebay auction site. All donated items will be sold on Ebay or Ubid and all proceeds go to Equine-Experience to fund programs for inner city students. Email us now with your contact information and the item(s) you would like to donate.
  • We also have a store where items are available on an ongoing basis, the proceeds of which go to support our programs. Watch for our store which will be up and running soon.
• If you are a person who has a church, or group affilitation, please present our program to your church or group. We have been very greatful for the help of congregations of all sizes and all denominations and from many community service organizations who have worked with us to fund programs for children who cannot otherwise afford the enrichment experience. Our base is community involvement and participation.
